Windows 10: Last session returns to life?

So, I have a Windows 11 PC with dual boot with Linux installed. Last night, my PC seemed to shut off on its own from low power. When I turned on my PC this morning, everything seemed to indicate that it shut off properly because I was given the choice to either boot to Ubuntu or use Windows. However, after I chose to boot to Windows, it was as if the PC never shut off in the first place. All programs were in their last known state. The only difference was that a game I had on crashed as soon as I interacted with the game. Can anybody help me understand this phenomenon?

I cannot delete or add apps to 'life at a glance'

How exactly you are trying to add or delete apps to life at a glance?

  Open Start menu and Click All Apps.
  
• 
  Right click on the app you want to add in Life at a glance and select Pin to Start.
  
• 
  The app will be added to Life at a glance.
  

Method 2:

• 
  Open Start menu and Click All Apps.
  
• 
  Drag the app from app list and drop the app in Life at a glance part.
  
• 
  The app will be added to Life at a glance.
  

I suggest you to follow the below steps to delete the apps:

  Open Start menu and Click All Apps.
  
• 
  Right click on the app you want to add in Life at a glance and select Unpin from Start.
  
• 
  The app will be deleted from Life at a glance.

How to add tiles to Life at a Glance?

I suggest you pin the app tile and Life at a glance on the Start screen.

Follow the below steps:

• Type program in the search bar from the Desktop.
• Right click on the app and select Pin to Start.
  
• Again, type life at a glance in the search bar from the Desktop.
• Right click on the Life at a glance and select Pin to Start.

Here are the steps on how to open a new session in Internet Explorer:

• Search Internet Explorer.
• Click Alt.
• Go to File.
• Then click New session.

Note: This option is only available in Internet Explorer 11.
