Windows 10: Last Windows 10 Update

The last update installed a weather and taskbar app on my PC.How do I remove this? I don't want to use Edge, nor do I use my @live.com address much at all. but my PC is now locked into this address and I can't remove it.I'm not happy that since the update, I'm constantly prompted to try and use Edge. Now all my PDF files have been changed from the PDF reader I use, and since the update I can't undo edge pdf, which has locked my files into using this reader. When I select another reader, and then asked to make it the default, edge pdf doesn't allow that reader to control the files.So how to

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
