    Since the last windows 11 update, my computer will not boot up to windows critical process died-stopcode and mainly goes to the bios screen where the drive that has the windows OS on it no longer shows up the drive is a Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVME M.2 SSD which is on the AUSUS TUF motherboard - please help

    repairing windows will just fix any damaged files, id suggest taking off your over clocking settings the try booting in, maybe when you updated you also updated some censoring device which is now causing you a problem with your over clock settings.

    To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

    Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
    in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
    then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
