As per the title, I had a working configuration that brought up the windows boot manager and allowed me to select between the two installations. One is bitlocker disabled, the other enabled.After the latest cumulative update KB5041585 on the device with bitlocker disabled, I was faced with "loader_rollback_detected" and was unable to acccess the boot options menu. Currently the only way to access either system is only by installing either ssd and removing the other. In this case, both appear in the boot options menu.I tried bootrec /rebuildbcd /fixmbr /fixboot. The first command returns 0 Wi

I have Two updates that I am receiving errors (0x80071a91) for both win11 updates.

Every time I try to update the updates listed below I receive an Error (0x80071a90) for both updates. Can someone please help me out on how to fix this issue, should I preform a factory reset & re install win11.

Cumulative updates for Windows - May 2024

We have multiple Windows 10 22H2 workstations that do not detect 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768). If you run the Windows update list in powershell or click "Check for updates" we see the following:

KB5037771 134GB Windows 11, version 23H2

The KB listed appears to be related to the 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11. Why is this appearing on a Windows 10 machine and why won't the Windows 10 machine detect 2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037768)? We have attempted the Windows Update reset script on affected already without resolution to this issue.

 

Windows won't let me install a 2024/07 Cumulative Update

Is there another solution? These 2 options did not work for me.
