    which is the more up to date ? as intel and windows seem to use different numbering
    20.19.15.4331(windows 10 installed after last update) or 15.33.38.64.4252(which is the one the intel software says it the latest)

    Just thought I'd share - I was here as I was having intermittent lockups whilst browsing and was convinced the graphics driver was partly to blame. Acer site had not been updated since August 2015, so I was looking for new drivers.

    Anyhow, to cut a long story short I removed (and deleted) the graphics drivers from Device Manager until 'Microsoft Basic Graphics Adapter' was showing. Then I ran the new Intel Driver Update Utility 2.4.0.5 and it installed a W10 driver which was then subsequently updated via a Windows Update. The machine has behaved flawlessly since.

    Intel need to sort their website out, to make it easier to find stuff.
    even the own driver identifier cant get it right, always tells me there is a newer driver but the number is older that I already have

    AFAIK, on a clean install Windows 10 will install a driver for Intel HD(2000) graphics. This I believe is the on-die GPU for all Sandy Bridge CPUs.

    If you upgrade, the Win7/8x driver will be retained.

    This worked for about ten days in the end. Intermittent issues returned. Have since clean installed and the GPU is not detected by W10/WU just stays on Microsoft Basic Graphics Adapter. Have now installed the Acer driver from Aug 15 and it has not received any WU.
