Windows 10: latest Microsoft visual C++ 64x not installing

Hey I am new here and i have a question. I am trying to install the latest Microsoft C++ 64x and it had failed. But i had no problems downloading the latest Microsoft visual C++ 86x. So i did some problem shooting and tried to remove the older version as when i tried to install the newer version of the 64x it said i needed to delete the older one. But when i try to do that it says that file cant be found or deleted. The funny thing is is that i also need the older version of 64x to install the newer one. Please help me. Error 0x80070641 - I can't install newer versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables

Please uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ completely from the computer and then install the newer versions.

# Step 1: Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++

a. Type control panel in start menu > Programs > Programs and Features > uninstall a program

b. Locate all ( Microsoft Visual C++ ) from the list of installed programs.

c. Click on it and then select “Uninstall”.

d. Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer if prompted.

# Note: If you cannot find Microsoft Visual C++ in the installed programs list, go to step

2 to install the latest version.

# Step 2: Install the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++

to download and install the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ components on the computer.

a. Click on this link to download the latest version of Visual C++ Redistributable Package.

b. After the download, run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the package.

c. Restart the computer, if prompted.

Note> Make sure that your operating system is with the latest updated

 

Microsoft Visual 2017 C++ msi wont install.

Step 1:

1. Press Windows key + X, click on
control panel.

2. Go to Programs and Features.

3. Locate
Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs.

4. Click
Microsoft Visual C++, and then click Uninstall.



Note: If you cannot find Microsoft Visual C++ in the installed programs list, go to step 2

Step 2: Follow the steps to remove the software.

Download and then install the latest Visual C++ runtime. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Visit the following Microsoft Web site: Download Drivers & Updates for Microsoft, Windows and more - Microsoft Download Center

2. Download latest Visual C++

3. Make sure that the computer is installed with all the latest hardware drivers
