Windows 10: Latest update broke scaling for some apps

The 20h2 (EDIT: KB5000808) update broke the scaling for Ableton Live for my HP laptop. No matter what combination of settings I tried (.exe properties, display scaling, etc.) windows was unable to properly scale the app to my 4k display. Another minor annoyance was My Computer kept moving out of place on the desktop every time windows started - seems like there is something wrong with how the update handles screen resolutions.

In the end I just restored to before the update and everything is back to normal. I guess I'll have to stop updating Windows for now, after getting lucky with avoiding bugs for several years of updates.

Anyone else experiencing similar situations or have any suggestions?

Windows 10 Creator's update - Every time I undock, scaling goes to 150%
