Thought it was just the mouse at first, but it is the whole computer. Affects everything. I do not see a recurring process in the Task Manager. No red marks in the Event Viewer. I have tried to disable some services and features but to no avail.

Originally i tried to remove the update, but it came back.

I tried to do a reset of Windows from a USB drive and clear all updates. But the problem still happens now even before the updates come back, but now I cannot find the updates to try and remove anymore.

I am close to a full windows reinstall, but not sure if that will help.

  2. Software Protection Service causing stutter

Once or twice a day I get a half second of stutter where my video and audio will stutter for half a second. The only thing I've found in the Windows Logs seems to be the Software Protection Service starts when the stutter happens. Any ideas? I've done a full format with no luck, stuttering still occurs.

    March, 11 2016 latest version?

Is the version that was made in March, 11 2016 will be the latest version even around July 15? I just want to get the latest version right before it's not free to upgrade anymore. I wanted to upgrade when it's the latest version while it's free. It might
of been March 13, 2016 but I think it was ether 11th or 13th can't remember well. I saw the date while back on Windows update.

Latest Update occured March 11, 2021 causing stutters or hitches every second and a half

Manually going forward or backwards makes my computer video stutter for about half a second or so

    Hi,

One of the possible causes of a display stuttering on your computer is due to an outdated graphics driver. It is important that your
device is always kept up-to-date to have the latest features and fixes.

We suggest that you follow the steps in Update drivers in Windows 10 article on how you can
    update your drivers.

Let us know how it goes.
