Windows 10: Latest Win 10 Update

My PC now updated .. that took a long time, but here in Darkest Africa. I only have an "up to 4 Mbps" ADSL connection.

I also see that this is my 100th post on TenForums *Smile This is a great forum, and the willingness of everybody to help less knowledgeable forum-ites is admirable.

Resetting windows

Hello,

I have updated my pc to the latest win 10 anniversary update. I am thinking of resetting my pc (by keeping personal files). My question is : will i get a clean install of win 10 along with the latest anniversary update or will I have to manually download
the anniversary update after the installation of basic win 10?

 

Lost Touchpad Buttons on ASUS S200E after WIN 10 update

After upgrading to WIN 10 I have lost button actions on Elan touchpad. I've checked for latest WIN 10 and ELAN drivers to no avail.

Strangely after latest WIN 10 updates L button worked once but then stopped?!

Any suggestions?

 

I now seem to have 2 x Java 8 Update installations, as per the above screenshot. This I noticed after the latest Win 10 update.

I a bit puzzled as to where these came from, and I run Win 10 Pro 64-bit as my OS
Any ideas to resolve?

 

The one labeled simply Java 8 Update 101 is the 32-bit version (notice the file size is smaller than 64-bit also). Java can run in either 32- or 64-bit modes; some websites (or applications) are 32-bit only and that's why you have both.

Many thanks Ed .. and it now makes sense to me. I had forgotten about the fact that I would still need the 32-bit version even though my Laptop is 64-bit
