Windows 10: Latest WIN10 version

Good afternoon,

Had to update my WIN10 version which I did successfully about seven days ago, or so I thought.

Before updating I ran everything to clean up, tidy, and security check everything, as you do.

After the update I did everything again just be ... er ... sensible?

Since the update my laptop does strange things. Everything freezes and the only way to restart is off/on.

Often when moving to a new screen only part of the expected page appears. The whole page is often visible but the layout and content are not as expected and partial, trying to navigate this screen moves in slow motion and with a delay.

In order to make any progress off/on and a complete check/clean-up is the only way to progress.

Owned the laptop and run the various programmes for a few years with no problems.

What is happening now has NEVER occurred previously.

Hate to associate it with update ................ but ...........

Has this happened to anyone else, if so you are not alone.

Or, is there something I am doing wrong please?

Apology for bothering you but it is happening more often and I have no idea of a solution.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
