Windows 10: Latest windows 10 cumulative update preview

My laptop just installed 2022-08 cumulative update preview for windows 10 21H2 for X64 based systems KB5016688. It completely changed my desktop, removed all my program sign ins and all default applications. I tried recovery and it did not fix this. If this is a preview it stinks. How can I get back my old desktop and default programs. Its ridiculous that someone has to go back and redo dozens of program sign ins and settings. Thanks Joe Lucia

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
