Latest Windows 10 Forced update broke my PC

Was told today March 13th 2021 that unless I installed latest windows 10 major update then I wouldnt get security support updates.

After ages of downloading the PC rebooted but at login it failed to recognise my password. I rebooted and tried again. It worked and logged me into my desktop. To my horror it had uninstalled or is not reconising my previously installed programs!!! They are gone from the start menu and they dont appear loaded in the background at startup.

I clicked on This PC and my documents, downloads, photos!!!!!! ALL EMPTY!!!!!!! Where is my files and my work!!! I need this!

Can someone at Microsoft Support tell me How do I put it back to as it was yesturday when i had all my photos and work??? I am fuming, you have broken my PC. I dont need this stress in my life!

Help!!!! It is now just blue screen and saying restarting after i did a restart. Been like this for 20 mins!!!!!!

    :)

    Windows 10 forced download

I actually had a client call yesterday with an email problem. when I tried walking him through some steps, he says "Yeah, I don't see that there, but I think it's because it's updated to windows 10. It did that a few weeks ago. I came back in on Monday, and it said Welcome to Windows 10"..... I think I'd throw the computer out the window.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.
