Latest Windows 10 update broke my computer! July 29, 2018

The latest Windows 10 update broke my computer. The screen is all black. After turning it off, unplugging it, pressing the on button, then plugging it back in and turning it on, I get a blue screen that reads: "Recovery / It looks like Windows didn't load correctly / If you'd like to restart and try again, choose 'restart my PC' below. Otherwise, choose 'See advance repair options' for troubleshooting tools and advances options. If you don't know which option is right for you, contact someone you trust to help with this. "

I tried restarting, and that didn't work.

I clicked on "Advanced repair options" and attempting a few of them, none work. I tried to "Continue" from the next screen and ended up with a black screen again. I tried "Use another operating system" but that didn't get me anywhere. I tried "Troubleshoot" and Advance Options including "System restore" I recieved a message that siad there were no restore points. I tried "Startup Repair" that attempted repair for lik1 15 minutes and it didn't work. I tried "Go back to the previous version" and that didn't work - error said there was no previous version.

Help! Don't know what to do now.

I don't understand how Microsoft can force an update on my computer that breaks it! It was working fine before.

    :)
