    Latest Windows 10 update causes colors to be washed out


    I updated Windows 10 this morning and after it fully restarted the colors on my screen became very washed out. I know this is not an issue with my monitor. When booting up, the colors look fine. It's only when it is fully booted up that they become washed. Also, starting in safe mode causes the colors to look fine to. I believe this narrows down what could be the problem, but at this point I'm not sure where to go. If anyone can give me some direction, that would be greatly appreciated.

    I wonder why nobody has suggested the OP to make a screenshot of display showing these "washed out colors"? Everything I have read in this thread suggests that the issue is not in Windows, but instead in display / monitor.

    My suggestion: next time you'll see these washed out colors, make a screenshot and post it here. If the screenshot shows us that colors are OK, then the issue is your monitor failing.

    Washed out colors after update.

    After it finished updating to 2004, i still hasn't updated the graphics driver when i noticed the washed out colors. Then i tried installing the latest ones and there was no difference, the colors are still washed out; both previous & latest version of the
    graphics drivers. So i decided to roll back the windows update as well to the previous version and still the same, colors are still washed out. idk whatelse to do.
