    Latest Windows 10 update

    Wow ,

Whoever is doing these cumulative updates needs a good kick in the **** or their employment terminated.

Again the latest update today has knocked out my Windows live virus protection namely the service has stopped working after this update and can not be restarted.

This is becoming a regular joke and I am absolutely sick and tired of it.

Do you idiots actually test to see that the update doesn't cause any problems before releasing it because like I just said it happens a lot

Seriously you guys preach about being security kings but this is the lamest thing I have ever seen , yes it might happen once but to happen 3 or 4 times in 12 months is just lame BS.

Your cumulative updates keep stopping the Virus and Protection Service and nothing will get it started again / no reboot / no turning it on manual / nothing.

Its like you people have no idea **** you are doing.

Seriously fix the ******* problem so it never happens again and take note that you never do it again or go find another ****** job.

Security Intelligence Update for Windows Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 Version 1.309.802.0 -Error 0x80070643 will not install because your update knocked the Virus and Protection service out and stopped it.

FIX IT RIGHT THIS TIME, FFS !

    :)

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
