Windows 10: Latest Windows 10 update ????

I have 5 machinis running Windows 10 and set to fully update automatically.


Unfortunately they had that setting too back in may where two of them was updated to 1803 - and it don't work properly. I then turned back to previous build on these machines and they came to work fine again.


I back then set ALL 5 machines for on break concerning updating and lately this break periode ran out as it should.


the other day ONE of the machines was updated to build 1803 17.134.191 and I exspected the other 4 machines to follow.


But they DON'T update to 1803 ... they still runs build 1709 build 16,299.579 !


ALL 5 machines have the SAME settings concerning updating, delays and so ... WHY don't the 4 of them update ?

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
