note that Windows Defender Platform Updates and the Security Intelligence Updates are not the sameI noticed through the System logs in Event Viewer and catching Windows Defender restarting itself mid-update that the newest Platform Version had been installed, which appears to be Version 4.18.24020.7, but I noticed something differentthe WindowsUpdateClient events stated "Successfully installed Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus antimalware platform - Current Channel Staged"this is odd to me because usually every single Defender-related update says "Current Channel Broad"; even the o

What does current channel (Broad) mean

Hello, this is Emily.

This typically is for a commercial version of Defender. It looks fine.

Do you have Microsoft 365 account assigned to you from work or school? Or perhaps you have a business version?

If you go to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School, do you see anything listed there?

The broad channel is one of the gradual Microsoft Defender monthly platform update rollout channels.
