  1. Launch a specific window within the sounds settings.

So depending on what I do during the day/night, I like to alternate sound settings from various apps. Like MusicBee/VLC/games/Opera(browser) through my headphones, my television or a mix.

Changing the sound like this all the time means, its always up.

This lets me adjust which output specific apps are playing from. The window im talking about is Settings > Display > Sound > "App volume and device preferences"

I just dont know what command I would use to actually get exactly this spot of the settings.

    1. 'ms-settings:sound' just gets to Settings > Display > Sound
    2. 'ms-settings:apps-volume' whereas this doesnt do anything just settings, or wont auto-nav to 'settings' if the window is already existing.

EDIT: Relevant thread inquiring same thing. Any progress /u/ShaunDreclin ?

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Launch a specific window within the sounds settings. :p

  3. Sound card amplification settings

Yeah unfortunately ASUS and Realtek are not stepping up and fixing this it seems. Wherever I see such problems mentioned on forums some users are suggesting just uninstalling the Realtek driver and using the Windows audio driver.

Sound issues on Windows 10 as it plays incorrect sound settings.

    Hi,

I appreciate if you could answer a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

    • Which player are you using to access the songs?

    • Did you make any changes to the sound settings?

    • Did you try a different player?

    • Is the issue specific to certain type of files?
As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to refer to the article provided below and check if that helps.
