Windows 10: Launch game on PC with gamepad

Hi, Reddit.

I started using Windows few months ago and not pro in it. Most of my games (from steam/gog) I play with gamepad. I need to launch game with my mouse/keyboard and then sit back and play. But I have found this sweet thing when you press X button no your controller. And I wonder maybe there some app or something which I can use for launching my games just with gamepad. Like this game bar but with my games. Thanks in advance.

Gamepad for lumia 730

I am using Lumia 730 from 2 months. I need a gamepad for asphalt 8, nova 3 like games. Suggest me some good gamepad.

 

Compatible gamepads with Windows Store games

I noticed that some Windows Store games support gamepads, but when I connect my Logitech RumblePad 2, it is not detected by the game, it works correctly with desktop games though, is there specific gamepads that are compatible with Windows Store games,
or should any gamepad work ?

 

Game controller ID settings

Thank you for the update. I understand your concern.

I would suggest you to look for the Devices settings in Control Panel and check if the game controllers are listed. If so, refer to the following steps to alter the settings and check if these are helpful in resolving your issue.

a. Right click on one of your game controllers and click Game Controller Settings. Note where in the list it is. If it is not at the top proceed to the next step.

b. Right click and remove all your other controllers (not the 360/gamepad) and let them reinstall automatically.

c. Once complete right click and check the list again and see if the 360 controller/gamepad is at the top. If so, give the game another try and see if it detects your controller.

If the issue still persists, restart your console and then try to reconnect your controller.
