    Launching apps in Win10 is extremely slow


    Hi,


    Starting some weeks ago, launching apps on my windows 10 machine became unbearably slow.
    My observations are:
    1. Launching an app can take minutes (even launching Notepad, or trying to connect to a new Wifi network).
    2. After an app is running then it is responsive. So I think the issue is mostly with launching apps
    3. Login also takes a very long time

    Hi Yuval,

    We suggest you to run the System File Checker and DISM tool to check if there are corrupted or missing system files that are causing the issue. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
    • Choose Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type or copy each command and hit enter.

      sfc /scannow

      dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Try this:

    Left click on the Windows button in the task bar, hover Shutdown or sign out, click on Restart.

    Your log says there is only 839mb of available ram ?

    & your pagefile is 4gb so recommend 8GB in dual channel mode ?
