Windows 10: Lavalier/Lapel basically collar mic is not working in my desktop!!Even After using a...

Two days ago I bought a mic from amazon, it's a lavalier mic I thought I'm gonna use it as a pc mic. Later when it's not working after the plugin in pc I came to know I need a Trrs To Trs converter to make it works in pc! I bought it, Still don't know why it's not working in pc Windows 10 but the mic is fine. Don't know why it's not working please help!!!

And also I made a mic with my old headphone that even doesn't work with pc! Is there any kind of windows limitations that creating this issue! I wanted to if anyone uses a lapel/lavalier collar mic please let me know how!?

Lapel Mic is not working in Windows 10

Dear Microsoft, I have bought a lapel mic yesterday (Drumstone Professional Mini Lavalier Lapel Microphone 3.5mm Omni directional Condenser Clip On Noice Cancelling Lav Mic- Black:Amazon). Its working fine in my Windows Phone but it is not working in my Windows 10 PC, I have bought a port splitter
also to make sure that the mic port is compatible or not, that splitter works in other mics but not in this one, I had also tried to update lapel mi driver with Device Manager but it was saying "The best driver for this device is already installed in your
PC"... Kindly please help me !! THANK YOU !!

Dear Carlos, The mic which I am using is a simple local lapel mic, I have searched for drivers of this product but I couldn't found. I used this mic in other's PCs also, in all Windows 10 PCs it is not working but in Windows 7 PC it is working fine. PLEASE

Lapel vs desktop microphone

I'm going to vote for headset mic. But if I had to choose between desktop and lapel for a kind of dynamic hands-free style and I were concerned about room noise, I'd pick lapel. But you have to be careful about not rubbing against them. Desktop mics can obviously work well but you'll want to work it close if you are concerned about room noise which means a boom. And if you are working close, then moving your head or body around can change the signal level a ton, probably more than even a lapel. Those changes can be compressed away but that's extra work.

Headset avoids all those problems and just requires a bit of initial thought for placement to avoid plosives.
