Windows 10: Leaked screenshots from Windows 10 build 10009 reveal updated Recycle

Discus and support Leaked screenshots from Windows 10 build 10009 reveal updated Recycle in Windows 10 News to solve the problem; I rather like the idea of the recycle bin Icon to be a flushing toilet. I'm sure it's possible. I think I have a sound effect for that somewhere! *Wink Discussion in 'Windows 10 News' started by ARC1020, Feb 5, 2015.

Not totally sure on that. (Looks like the leaked screenshot says the standard "Microsoft Confidential......" then Evaluation Copy 10009 winmain... and the rest is shaded over)
    You might be right! *Wink

WOW! Add another language and there's a whole whack of stuff messed up! Mostly in the Start Menu.

  6. Yea I believe Microsoft over does it with adding all of the languages
Seems they should be optional to download and not preinstalled.
Selecting a region/ language at install should only install that.
Not the translate with bing nonsense.

Doesn't matter to me, I make my own icons for the desktop. I still like have having recycle, my computer and my documents on the desktop. All other icons go in related folders, games, tools, etc.. Shows off my wallpaper better to have a clean desktop.

  14. Most distasteful iconography I've ever seen. It's reminiscent of Ubuntu from like, 2002 or something. It's like what was probably going to be the iconography in the first builds of Windows Whistler. Holy cow these icons are just, bleh. *Sick

This isn't just flattening down Aero, this some hideous anti-metro/modern UI things going on here. It's annoying me how the old Desktop side of things have these ugly as sin icons while the newer modern UI has these slick modernly designed icons that fit into place. The Desktop ones just stick out like a sore thumb from yesteryear. I think the closest comparison is to BeOS.

That needs redesigning. All the Desktop iconography HAS to match the newer modern UI design, there can't be the same juxtaposition of something hideous and elder looking with sleek design that is the complete opposite of that. It's a lack of consistency here.

  15. I can say from decades of experience that these photo are not of the art department.
You will never see anyone in an art department wearing ties.
