Windows 10: LEAKING DATA TO MICROSOFT-CORP-MSN-AS-BLOCK

App ApntEx.exe which is a driver for touchpads by Alps Electric Co. or Dell that sends data to Microsoft to the following addresses:IP Traffic TCP 204.79.197.203:443 UDP a83f:8110:0:0:beac:bf78:cce1:d301:53 TCP 23.216.147.64:443 TCP 20.99.133.109:443 TCP 20.99.184.37:443 TCP 192.229.211.108:80 TCP 20.99.185.48:443 UDP 192.168.0.86:137 TCP 23.216.81.152:80 www.microsoft.comWhy is this driver sending traffic? I see a previous thread asking the same question as to why traffic is going to MICROSOFT-CORP-MSN-AS-BLOCK but no answer to the question

MICROSOFT-CORP-MSN-AS-BLOCK. seems to be downloading my p[c to an address of 111.221.104.12

Hi Everyone

Hope You are all safe from Covid and healthy !

Have an issue I just picked up via a trace . My hard drive after a reboot was constantly running 10 minutes after my pc rebooted . Started a trace and picked up this address which seems to be associated with Azure and MICROSOFT-CORP-MSN-AS-BLOCK.

Trying to deduce more info from the trace as to what it was doing but did not get the beginning or possibly the end .

Does anyone know why this IP address would be downloading from my pc ?

FYI : I do not use Azure and never have .

Somehow I have an account on my Business but have never used it and no subscriptions either .

Any clues/help would be greatly appreciated

Memory leak issue

The term "memory leak" means that an application fails to return all its RAM to the operating system when it exits. The leftover RAM is unusable to the operating system.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
