Windows 10: Left arrow key suddenly has "Ctrl Alt Del" assigned

    Left arrow key suddenly has "Ctrl Alt Del" assigned


    My left arrow key is suddenly acting all funky and It seems to have the "Ctrl Alt Del" assigned to it despite me never adding a shortcut to my keys ever.Here's what I have done to try to narrow down the problem:- Tried unplugging and restarting- Turned off hotkeys in settings- Tried switching to another keyboard- Deleted very recently downloaded programsIs there anyway I could restore keyboard settings to default somewhere or is there another problem? Help.

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

    The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.

    On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Left arrow key suddenly has "Ctrl Alt Del" assigned ;)

    Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    Depends on whether you have the Welcome Screen, or the Domain Logon screen at boot up.
