Windows 10: Left click not registering on specific areas Windows 11

By "specific areas" i mean buttons like: the network icon on the taskbar, the buttons at the top right of applications, etc.It's still usable but i find it really annoying, ive tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling my mouse drivers, restarting my computer, looked through the event viewer though i only looked briefly so i could try checking that again, and a couple other solutions. None seemed to work thoughI also don't think it's a mouse issue, i plugged in a spare mouse and the problem still persisted.I'm about to restart my computer to update it, hoping it's fixed with the update but im go

I got a new laptop with windows 11 last week, all the updates and drivers are in place and I am noticing the same issue. left-click doesn't always register and I have to click multiple times to trigger the click. I have tried 2 different mice so it is definitely a windows issue. Sometimes it works just fine, other times it doesn't.

Nothing suggested has helped.

I had to click 3 times on the reply button for the third one to trigger so I could write this message.

I don't think the problem you see is necessarily the same as everyone else in this conversation thread, but yours can probably be fixed (at least temporarily). The next time this seems to happen, please press Ctrl+Shift+Escape, find Windows Explorer in the list, and right-click/restart that item (it won't restart your computer, just your desktop interface/taskbar).

Since few days I also have this problem sometimes. With me the problem is limited on a specific area. I'd say on the most right fith of my right screen left clicks are ignored when this happens. So for example I can't click minimize, maximize and close. I have to move the window a bit to the left and then I'm able to close it.

Restart solves the problem for the moment but I had it for a week almost every day once. Weird problem.
