Windows 10: Left shift key is messing with my audio service every time I press it.

Left shift key in my laptop keeps messing with my audio service. Every time I press it, it either increases or decreases sound or starts windows media player. Every time I press it, my cursor shows it's loading something. It's irritating. What do I do now?

I cant press left shift and space at the same time.

this occured randomly. I tried reinstalling my keyboard drivers didn't work and the keyboard i have is the orignal lenevo wirless keyboard which came with my pc. but however when i press the right shift key i can press space bar at the same time. same problem with shift + delete and i can press left shift plus any other key

I have problem with Lenovo Idea Pad 100 laptop (OS: WIN10). After replacing HDD into SSD I faced a strange problem. Both Shifts of the keyboard doesn‘t work .
I have tried to:

• Check if sticky keys are off. They are off.
• Connect external keyboard via USB port. Shift keys on external keyboard works good.
• Check the keyboard on online tester which indicates pressed buttons. It can‘t indicate press of the shift
• Change several different input languages. The problem is on all of them.
• Reinstall keyboard driver
• Check if connection is OK. It is OK.
• Tried to run computer without screws (I have read in one forum that screws could touch the keyboard from the bottom and it wouldn‘t operate normal)

I believe that keyboard is not damaged because connector damage could cause just exact part of keyboard failure, while it is impossible to do physical damage for both shifts. Any solutions?

 

Shift keys not behave as expected in windows 10 | HP elitebook

My shift keys are not behaving as expected. Please find following concerns.

• When press right shift key then prints q character.
• When press left shift key then prints z character
• When i need to print A it prints as qA

I didn't change any settings or configurations.

Can anyone suggest to solve this issue. I'm helpless right now.
