Windows 10: left side shift and enter key, both not working.

when I was chatting in game suddenly my shift and enter key not work at all. I thought it was the keyboard driver so I decided to uninstall it. then restart pc, but still problem is there. and I thought it was sticky keys , but when I checked it , everything was turned off. then I decided to turn on and off the sticky keys and still its not working. I don't know what to do , I put my bros keyboard and it also behave the same. definitely not hardware issue. please help thank you.

Some builtin shortcuts not working with "Left Shift" key

Some shortcuts with "shift" key do not work at all with the "left shift" but
work only with "right shift"

I checked other shortcuts that whether the shift is Lshift or Rshift does not matter.

These are the shortcuts I've found so far... :

Ctrl-Shift-Enter (run as administrator)

Ctrl-Shift-P (Launch InPrivate window in Edge Browser)

 

LEFT ALT+SHIFT KEY DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE

Hi,

I used to work with (left alt+shift + arrow) keys to make a block in editors like notepad++, Vs editor, and etc. I recently installed new updated on my windows 8.1 and all of a sudden those keys stopped working.

I followed up all suggestions like disable language keys, .. none of them seem working. Any idea to return those key back?

 

Shift+D not working??

Had same problem with right Shift and D only. Left Shift and D was working, right Shift and D was not doing anything (not a small d but nothing at all). All other Shift key combinations were working. In my case turned out the print screen button on the keyboard was stuck. Once released worked fine. So if a key isn't working pays to see if some other keys are stuck.
