Windows 10: Left stick drift on all Xbox controllers on win 11?

I have 3 Xbox controllers, one is Xbox One and the other 2 are Xbox series S controllers, and all three left analog sticks drift to the bottom right in any game I try on my windows 11 fully updated laptop. I've downloaded the Xbox accessories app but my connections are through Bluetooth and the app doesn't support that and possibly the app only works with elite 2 anyway? and when I tried to use USB cables the system isn't recognizing the controllers. I can find any way to adjust the sensitivity of the Microsoft Xbox controller analog sticks. Am I missing something?

I have had the same issue as well. Same controller and same battery pack/charger. I haven't discovered a permanent fix, but the issue definitely seems to be the charger you plug into the controller to charge the battery (when charging, the drift is much
more aggressive and frequent). Mine only drifts to the left. I have tried removing the battery from the controller and allowing to the power to drain from the controller. This seems to have worked, for the most part. I still get drift however. Not sure if
it's an electrical interference from the charging cord or the actual plastic itself (the part that plugs in.) I would try this- take battery out after charging and allow power to drain from controller. And when charging, plug charger into controller lightly
(don't firmly press it hard in). My controller still drifts after I've charged it and unplugged, but worse when plugged in and charging. Let me know if you've found any solutions. Peace.

Hey all,

my issue is kind of a weird one. I've had a look around but haven't found anyone addressing this particular issue. I don't think it's one that actually pops up all that often.

I've had this Xbox 360 controller for a while. It's a black one that came off my Xbox 360 Elite from a while back. I bought a charger and wireless connector so I could use it on my laptop for certain games. It worked perfectly for ages, but after a while,
the left thumb stick would start to drift in one particular direction. I opened it up and cleaned the inside hoping that would fix it, but it didn't

What I ended up finding out was that it only drifts when i'm charging it. When it's running low i'll plug it in and use it as if it was wired. Originally that worked fine, but now this drifting issue has popped up. If i just leave it to charge, say overnight
though, then use it wireless, it works fine. Somehow the charger is interfering with it? I'm not really sure. It's very bizarre. Anyone have any ideas?

(PS: I didn't really know what category to put this in, since there really isn't one at least in the dropdown that I was looking at )

 

Xbox Controller Drift

I recently bought a series 2 controller six months ago and the analogue sticks now have significant drift in multiple directions. The bumpers also have a issues and the warranty on this product is three months... Why?

Given the significant number of issues this series of controllers has is Microsoft going to initiate a recall or allow for and exchange?

This is why right to repair needs to approved nationally.
