Windows 10: left taskbar size issue

I use my taskbar on the left side of my screen and I had an issue with the small buttons featuresNormally if the taskbar is at the bottom the small buttons feature lets me make the taskbar thinner but this doesnt seem to happen if the taskbar is on the left.Is there a way around this by editing registry files?Thanks in advance

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to change the font size and check if it helps.

• 
  Type fonts on the search bar and select it.
  
• 
  Click on change font size from the left pane.
  
• 
  Make changes according.

Autohide taskbar not working

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

You may check increasing the size of the Taskbar by dragging it little bit upwards. Because sometimes, if the size of the Taskbar is small system won’t make changes.

I would suggest you to create a new User Account and check if that issues occurs in other account.

You can follow below steps to create new User Account.

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• Select Add an Account.
• Enter a user name and hit Next.
• Click on Finish.

What is the make and model of the computer?

Did you try changing the display settings? If not, please try those steps and check if it helps.

I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps to increase the size of taskbar icons or not.

• Click on Start and in open Settings.
• Open System and click on Display in the left pane.
• Move the slider for the option "Change the size of the text, apps and other items" to the right to make size and text bigger.
• Check if it helps.
