Windows 10: Left Windows key suddenly disabled

Whenever I press the Left Windows key, this pops up on the bottom rightid I bump something by accident? How do I enable it again? Note that this only affects the LEFT Windows key, the Right Windows key works fine.

If you wish to disable your touchpad, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

• Press Windows Key +X.
• Select Device manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on Synaptic touchpad driver and select Disable.
• Click OK to confirm and check with the issue.

Left alt key menu -- can we disable it?

Try*3's procedure worked. My steps in this subject line were slightly different. For me it appears to be a Mozilla toolbar setting (FF, TB). In the clip below it's the top row. You can see my wallpaper in the background. I would have to press left-alt each time I wanted to see it. Someone said it varies by program, so I'll keep it in mind.

There are a few reasons why "Left Alt + Shift" is suddenly stopped working on your computer. Since you mentioned that you already tried some troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you create a
Test Profile. From there, check if the issue occurs.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
• Select Family & other people.
• Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
• Name the user as Test.
• Leave the password field blank.
• Hit Next.
• Sign in as Test user.
