Windows 10: Left WMR Controller stuck updating firmware. Please Help!

I have the Samsung Odyssey with 2 controllers for about a year. It was good until the left controller started to constantly disconnect and would need to be turned off and on. It gotten worse to the point where this would happen within minutes of being turned on. After doing some research I reset the controllers, resetting the firmware. When I boot up Mixed reality Portal, my left controller updates the firmware and after 15 minutes or so it begins to blink.

It does not track, so I turned it off and on and it will update once again and repeating the cycle. I also reset my right controller but it takes a few minutes to update and works as good as new. I tried reinstalling mixed reality portal. Going to a different build of windows. Reinstalling windows. And trying my headset and controllers at a friends house.

However the left controller does the exact same thing. Updating then flashing once again.

My specs are

i7- 4770 CPU

Asrocck Extreme 4 b87 Motherboard

RX 5700XT Graphics Card

32gb ddr3 Ram

800W powersupply

I also use an external bluetooth adapter and tried many different brands from amazon. I ve been trying to resolve this problem for about a month now.

It seems like this post describes the same issue, but his magically started working again.

My WMR left motion controller still vibrating / buzzing

My WMR left motion controller still vibrating / buzzing. Hard reset is not the solution, only repeat problem. I've tried MANY times. At last - always vibrates at intervals (with blinkig LEDs) - this kind of behavior is not documented in the controller
error list. The windows button dont turned controller off, only when the batteries are removed. The second controller is fine. I used WMR Acer for two years, there was no problem yet.

 

PS3 and PSP firmware updated

Sony has updated the firmware for its two most recent consoles, with a few improvements for each. The PS3 firmware has been updated to version 1.70, which will enable gamers to play PS1 software purchased from the PlayStation Store (previously only playable on the PSP) and will allow the use of the vibration function of accessories when playing PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles (not PS3 games unfortunately, but a step forwards). The PlayStation Store still lists all classic titles as being for the PSP, but this may be changed when it’s updated later this week. As for the PSP, the firmware has been updated to version 3.40, with the most noticeable changes being improved support for PlayStation Network titles and a changed method for managing certificates under [Game]. Apparently with the new firmware, gamers can share save data between both consoles allowing PS1 titles to be continued on the move and at home.

Lenovo Explorer WMR - Error Code 2181038087-5

I've been struggling to get my brand-new Lenovo Explorer to work. I have 2 VR capable computers, both well within specs for WMR, both throw error code 2181038087-5 despite my exhaustive efforts.

Here are the specs,

Main PC:

• CPU: Intel i7 4790K
• Ram: 32GB DDR3
• MB Chipset: Intel Z97
• GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
• Windows 10 Home, Version 1803, Build 17134.112

Streaming PC:

• CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
• Ram: 16GB DDR4
• MB Chipset: AMD B350
• GPU: RX480 8GB
• Windows 10 Home, Version 1803, Build 17134.112

So far, I have attempted, on both machines:

• Unplugging all other devices and hubs on USB 3.0 and 3.1 ports
• Unplugging and plugging back in the HMD into a different port
• Confirming Host controllers have Microsoft drivers (see pictures)
• Updating UEFI to latest firmware
• Disabling USB selective suspend settings
• Disabling Legacy USB Support in UEFI
• Uninstalling all USB controllers and devices in the Device Manager, and allowing them to reinstall on a restart
• Installing beta versions of the "HoloLens Sensors" firmware
• Plugging HMD into a powered hub

Suggestions?
