Windows 10: Legacy Photos app doesn't work without Photos installed

I am on a recently freshly installed copy of Windows 10 Pro. From within the Photos app, I used the button within settings to go to the Store download page for Photos Legacy and installed it. I uninstall Photos and attempt to launch Photos Legacy and I am met with an error message that persists on Retry and closes the app on Close.I closed the app and uninstalled it but was not able to find it in the store again.I was only able to get to the store page for the Legacy Photos app through a different support forum link found by googling the issue and not simply by searching the store:https://answ

Regarding to your information I assume that you want to use the Photos Legacy but it will still use the new version.

Are you referring to opening Photo (Legacy) or the new version of Photos? If possible, you can try uninstalling Photos and

then see if you are able to open Photo (Legacy). Our tests have shown that it should work fine. If you don't use the new version of

Photos, you can try this approach.

You can go to Settings -> Apps -> Installed apps, search for Photos, and you should see both Photos and Photos (Legacy).

Delete Photos and see if it resolves the issue.

If you want to use it please create a new test account, and switch to the newly created account to see if the Photos app is working as normal.

This troubleshooting step can help isolate the problem due to an invalid profile configuration.

You should be able to download and Install Photos Legacy from the Photos App Settings itself.
