    Hello,I hope someone has insight into what is causing this issue and how to resolve it.I have tried all possible troubleshooting steps.The problem:It began approximately two weeks ago while playing a game.The game started lagging and disconnected me from the internet.This occurred consistently.I discovered that when I unplugged my adapter, the issues disappeared—no lag, no disconnections. Without the adapter, it seems the GPU switched to Intel Graphics, as the FPS dropped from 60 to 30 but caused no further problems.I also observed significant lag when opening YouTube, making it challenging to

    • What is the make and model of GPU?

    • Do you face this issue only with this game or all the game?
    I suggest you to use the same GPU in different computer and check if the issue persist.

    As you mentioned that you have overclocked the CPU, Microsoft does not recommend overclocking the CPU.

    Help choosing CPU + GPU combo

    I'll be assembling a PC for a friend, he gave me his list of components he wants.

    He's got an i5 6500 and AMD r9 380 twin frozer GPU as a combo
    He intends to play mainly League of Legends and diablo 3... so yeah, no need for much horse power.

    do you think his CPU + GPU combo makes sense?
