    Lenovo Boot loop, Bios Black Screen, Wont boot to windows either


    I have tried doing everything I can think of. I got it to reset once, then after it start doing this. The novo button doesn't work either. Just keeps looping through the lenovo logo. When I try to use f2,f8, or f12 it just shows a black screen. I'm thinking this is hardware related, or something to do with the CMOS, it is a laptop. Will be trying to remove the CMOS tonight, if possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Lenovo G50 stuck in boot loop after windows update

    Hi,

    My computer is Lenovo G50 with windows 10. After my windows updated itself yesterday it got stuck in boot loop. It has a black screen with Lenovo text and error message saying "Install windows. Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows
    on this computer , restart the installation." When pressing OK or X it boots and repeats the text.

    I was able to get into windows 10 boot menu by pressing reset button. I tried to start in Safe Mode but then the text changed "Can't install windows in Safe Mode".

    Any help or suggestions appreciated.

    How to enter into BIOS and Boot Manager in Lenovo ideapad 520?

    Lenovo laptops have a couple of different ways to enter BIOS

    1

    On the Lenovo screen as your laptop starts, repeatedly press F2 or Fn + F2 to boot into BIOS

    2

    Beside the Power Button on your laptop, or on the side casing is there a Novo Button (looks like a looping backwards facing arrow

    If that exists, pressing that on the initial Lenovo boot screen should boot your laptop into BIOS

    Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

    Try this quoted from "VisiHow" article "Repair Windows 7 Black Screen of Death":

    They, also, have some other options there, too.
    Google search and you will find a lot of the "Windows Black Screen of Death with cursor" fixes.
