  1. Lenovo G50-45 Laptop startup BSOD Critical Process Died

    Hey everyone.
Earlier yesterday I ran System Restore to bring my laptop back to an earlier state due to a display issue. Everything was back normal and working fine until an abrupt shutdown shutdown on my part.
I rebooted my laptop and the Lenovo loading screen showed up as normal. Then the BSOD appeared with the Stop code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED

After a short bit it goes back to the Lenovo loading screen and underneath it says: Preparing automatically repair Then the screen flicks and says: Diagnosing your pc

After that it goes to another screen saying:
"Startup Repair Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC Press "Advance options" to try other options to repair your pc or "Shut down" to turn off your PC. Log file : C:\WINDOWS\system32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt'.

I opened up the Advance options in the Troubleshoot section and so far I tried:

'Exit and continue to Windows 10': it just goes to the Lenovo loading screen and starts the BSOD process again.

Booting up in Safe Mode: BSOD

I tried googling the issue and saw someone suggest to run sfc /scannow in the command prompt. I tried that but after the Verification hits 100% it says:
"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."

I tried running another system restore to a different saved point with the command prompt "rstrui.exe /offline:C:\windows=active" After the loading bar was full and it said "finished" nothing happened. So I tried exiting and continuing to Windows 10, but it went back to the BSOD.

Lastly, I tried an even older system restore point but when it finished an error showed up saying:
"System Restore did not complete successfully. Your computer's system files and settings were not changed. Details: System Restore failed while restoring the registry from the restore point. An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. 0x80070002 You can try System Restore again and choose a different restore point. If you continue to see this error, you can try an advanced recovery method."

If anyone has any ideas on what to possibly try next to fix this issue that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    :)

  2. critical process died error

My Lenovo G50-80 is experiencing this critical process died error. I have tried uninstalling the update but it is still not working properly. The update is downloading again and again and after that whenever I try to shut it down or restart it critical process
died error is displayed on the screen. I have also tried to run the command prompt(admin) and followed all the steps shown on youtube but at the very last moment the blue screen appears n all the progress is lost. I have also deleted some apps and personal
files to increase the space but there is no progress. It has happened more than 10 times and is making me sick. It usually happens after every 30 mins and that's why I am not able to access my laptop effectively. So kindly tell me an effective solution.

    Critical process died BSoD loop

My alienware 17 R3 laptop apparently forced restart to update windows 10 earlier in the day and after the update finished it literally won't start up and is now stuck in Critical process died BSoD loop without me being able to enter safe mode.

Any attempt to entering safe mode results in another Critical process died blue screen and I've tried EVERYTHING that the net lists as a solution.

Tried going back to previous version of windows and it list an error, tried restoring from a previous point and it doesn't show up at all. Hell I tried a complete reset of the laptop and it gave me an error and said it cannot complete the process for god
    knows what reason.

This happened once on my older alienware 17 r3 and I had to get a replacement entirely due to the vendors not being able to decipher the root cause of the problem but one thing is for damn sure, everytime a windows 10 update happens my laptop potentially
    gets killed off...

Seriously, any suggestions? This is pretty frigging infuriating.
