Windows 10: Lenovo g50-80 microphone prob

Good Dayplease help me with this problem I have on my Lenovo g50-80I have Windows 10 Home Single Language version 21H1 and this Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0 on my Lenovo g50-80 laptopthe problem I have is that when I try to connect my Microlab G7 Pro gaming headset to the g50-80 combo jack the mic does not work on any appsI have tested the mic on a phone on a discord channel and it works perfectlyI have tried any thing the laptop does not pick up the headset as a combo but the laptop have a picture with a headset next to 3.5mm combo jack!!!!

Lenovo G50-80 stopped working after window 10 upgrade

I have a lenovo G50-80 laptop with windows 8. I upgraded to windows 10, it was working fine for the first 2 days.. I shut it off and a couple weeks went by. When I turned it on, it did nothing. The battery indicator light was white and would blink once
every couple seconds. I hit the enter button and the lenovo screen came on and it said something about starting to repair then the screen goes black. It will not do anything else.
