Windows 10: Lenovo g500s GPU not detected in Windows 10

Hi,


I have recently did a clean install of Windows 10 i have issues with GPU. I have Lenovo G500s which is 2GB inbuilt GPU GEFORCE GT 720M which is not getting detected.


Even i tried installing the latest version of driver software which is failing as the device is not detecting GPU.


Device manager screen & Windows version is attached, can you please advise?

Lenovo G500 driver support


Hi,
I have Lenovo G500, and I would like to do clean installation of Windows 10 (I prefer so rather than upgrade)
According to this thread in Lenovo:

This laptop may have issues with Windows 10 and I don't know how to resolve them or
whether they're still relevant.

External Monitor not detected on Lenovo G500 laptop


After installing Technical Preview my Acer monitor is not detected when plugged in by VGA to Lenovo G500 laptop. This works on the 7 Dual Boot.

I only see one Generic Monitor detected in Dev Mgr. All Devices were issued drivers at install.

Lenovo does not make drivers, it is just a reseller. If the hardware is not supported, there is nothing it can do.

That said, everything might work, 8.1 drivers are mostly compatible with 10, so you will not know, until you try.
