Windows 10: Lenovo G580 and windows 10 Wifi suddenly stop working after 2 min of connecting.

I have upgraded my lenovo G580 laptopto win10. Wifi is not working properly.When i start the system it will show and i will connect after some time it will suddenly dont show any connection just it will show wifi Turned off and Turn Wifi Back on Manually.But Nothing works then i thought it is due to brodcom 802.11n drivers issue i tried to update and also tried to install from lenovo website nothing is working please help me with some fix. Apart from this windows10 i'm loving it.Any questions please ask me and resolve my problem soon.

Windows hotkeys not working on Lenovo G580 Notebook (Windows 10).


Hello. I have a Lenovo G580 Notebook with Windows 10 installed. The issue is that the Windows hotkeys, that is Windows key and other letter combinations, aren't working. For example, normally, if I press Windows key + I, then the Settings app should open up or if I press Windows key + R, then Run should open up. But the Start screen opens up instead in all such cases.

This is happening since I have updated the Synaptics touchpad driver via Windows Update. If I uninstall the driver, then the hotkeys start working again. But as soon as I install the driver, they stop working. This was not happening with Windows 10 before, even when the Synaptics driver was installed. It has suddenly started happening couple of months ago. Also I cannot completely uninstall the Synaptics driver because my laptop came with it itself nor can I stop the driver from updating as it is an important driver and it needs to be updated to be compatible with Windows 10.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

Windows 10 Lenovo G50-80 stopped connecting to WiFi

I have a 3-month old Lenovo G50-80 laptop.

It came with Windows 10 installed.

After I brought it home, it has frequent, automatic, forced Windows updates.

The WiFi had worked until 5/27/2016.

On 5/26/2016, it worked the whole day till shut-down.

On 5/27/2016, after I turned it on, it suddenly stopped connecting to WiFi.

I tried the following.

Click "Windows" button.

Click "Settings".

Click "Network & Internet".

Click "Wi-Fi".

Yesterday (5/27/2016), the right pane showed Wi-Fi "Off".

I switched it to "On".

It stayed "On" for about 2 seconds.

After 2 seconds, it automatically switched back to "Off" by itself.

It looked eerie.

Today (5/28/2016), after the same steps, the right pane showed Wi-Fi "On".

I was slightly encouraged.

(By the way, I did not do anything from 5/27 to 5/28. The operating system seems to have a life of its own.)

And then I used the usual steps to try to connect to WiFi.

Click on "^"

Click on the Wi-Fi icon.

A list of usual network connections showed up.

Click "Connect" button on my usual network.

Some dots kept rolling for 30 minutes without being able to connect.

Some other information you may need to debug.

In these 3 months after I bought it, I only downloaded one App, a chess game, from Microsoft. Besides that, I did not download any App.

The Lenovo laptop came with an anti-virus protection software installed. And then it expired. I don't know if it is still running or has stopped running after expiration .

I think that is all the information needed to debug.

Please help.

Wifi suddenly stopped working - strange result


Wifi stopped working suddenly on my desktop. Now I have to connect with cable to the router but when I open Network Connections it still says the wifi is connected and working. The Ethernet connection has the name of the Wifi SSID.

If I open the details of the wifi connection it says there is no0 IPV4 or IPV6 connectivity although these are checked.

What has happened?
