Windows 10: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 running Windows 11 latest build - Backspace, Enter and Spacebard not working

Recently my space bar started double spacing and now Backspace and Main Enter key only working intermittently also. All other keys appear to be working normally! All fixes found on Google turn Off sticky keys, update drivers, uninstall drivers and reinstall etc haven't resolved the issue. Did a clean install of Windows 11 in the end and the problem resolved itself....for a few days and is now back! Any ideas...I'm slowly losing my mind over this one! This is the laptop keyboard not an external USB keyboard. Plugging an external keyboard in also appears to resolve the issue, but this is no

Lenovo Enters the Netbook Market With IdeaPad S10

Lenovo this morning officially started selling its first netbook, the IdeaPad S10. The ultra-portable system will compete with the latest ASUS Eee PC and MSI Wind models, offering a 10-inch LED backlit LCD screen and Intel's 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor. Two configurations of the 2.4 pound S10 will be available initially, with 512MB RAM and 80GB HDD, and with 1GB RAM and 160GB of HDD space. Lenovo will sell the first one for $399 while the beefed-up version will sell for $449.99. Papers also indicate that both models will support 2GB of RAM, so upgrading the onboard memory won't be a problem. From the OS point of view, first S10 mini-laptops will be offered with Microsoft Windows XP preinstalled, but later on Lenovo will start offering Linpus Linux preloaded models too. Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Starts Selling

Ahead of its December launch, Lenovo started taking orders for the IdeaPad Yoga 11, designed for those who do find the IdeaPad Yoga 13 two inches too big for lugging around, given that it's a convertible tablet. The IdeaPad Yoga 11 is driven by Windows RT, NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.50 GHz. It is available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants (which include installed software), priced at $679.20 and $759.20, respectively.

 

Lost use of touchpad after upgrading to Windows 10 on Lenovo ideapad

This issue occurs due to the Lenovo ideapad touchpad driver may not be compatible.

I suggest you to download the latest Lenovo ideapad touchpad driver updates from the manufacturer’s website and check, if it works.

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to roll back the drivers and install the drivers in compatibility mode and check, if it works.



Follow the steps to install the driver in compatibility mode.

1. Download the latest Lenovo ideapad touchpad driver from the manufacturer’s website.

2. Right-click on the setup file and click on "Properties".

3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.

4. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
