Windows 10: Lenovo Ideapad 5 displaying "Please select boot device" when I turn it on

When I turn on my laptop it displays a black screen and then goes to a screen displaying "Please select boot device". It does not display the manufacturer logo on startup, so I can't get into Automatic Repair, and I've tried changing things in the BIOS to no avail. I should also add that selecting an option in the "Please select boot device screen" does nothing It simply flickers and returns to the same screen as if I did nothing at all. I don't have the money to replace anything in the laptop, so there's no chance of doing that. Any and all help is appreciated.

Hi, this is a lenovo ideapad flex 5. I just turn on my laptop and i saw this and it never happened before. And when i click the boot manger option nth changed too. I have to use my laptop ASAP. Do help if u can. Thank u.

Let's Uninstall Intel RST Driver from the Device manager;

First make a restore point in case something goes wrong.

In the device manager follow those steps to replace the Intel RST driver with the standard Windows SATA AHCI driver:

Agree.. most likely hardware. seems it's from around 2017 so not 'old'.

Are all other devices configured as listed by Device Manager?

I suppose you could try Safe Mode with Networking.
