    I have a Lenovo laptop with intel 11 gen processor . I installed windows after disabling VMD in bios. but now I want to enable it. if there is a way I can enable VMD and solve windows blue screen without reinstalling windows ?

    How to Install Intel VMD driver into Windows 10 system afterwards?

    Hi,

    I have installed a Win10 system on NVMe SSD and Intel 13th Gen CPU without enabling the Intel RST/VMD controller in the bios.

    Now I would like to install it later, but as soon as the VMD controller is activated in the bios, the system no longer boots (inaccessible boot device). Even in safe mode! The driver is already required when booting after the bios, for example the Windows setup does not even find the SSD without first loading it via Add driver (F6 Driver).

    How can I reinstall the VMD driver?

    Hi Daniel ,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The best option is to download the Intel RST VMD driver form the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, that would be the most compatible version of that driver and can be usually found in the Chipset section

    If you still cannot find that driver, Intel provide a version of the Intel RST VMD driver on this link on their website (bottom option)

    Lenovo Think Pad T450S Intel Graphics Driver

    I have a Lenovo Think Pad with the intel 5500 graphics driver. Have downloaded latest driver software from Lenovo and Intel and Device Manager still shows incompatibility with Windows 10 so it must be using a generic driver. I cannot connect to any external
    monitor. Any suggestions?
