Windows 10: Lenovo laptop, charger plugged in but not charging

I tried going to device manager and re installing the ACPI Drivers but no change.I even installed drivers but Lenovo site but the problem still persists.I clicked on update driver option and this is what I got The version of windows 10 is old and to update the driver, I have to update windows 10 version.Please help me

Laptop charging icon shows charging even when my charger is not plugged in

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. I followed all the steps mentioned by you. The issue stopped temporarily. The issue started again today. The moment I switched the laptop on, the charging icon was showing that the laptop is charging even though the charger
was not plugged in. The charging light was also on. I had to plug in the charger and switch it on and off to stop this automatic charging.

Is there any other way to solve this issue? Also, is there a chance that there is bug in the latest update?

I am worried that my laptop battery will get spoiled.

 

CHARGER PLUGGED IN BUT NOT CHARGING

When i plug in my charger to my laptop ,it indicates that the charger is plugged in but not charging. Please help

Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga 500 and I started having problems with my charger not charging my laptop. I replaced the charger but the problem persisted. Now my laptop only runs when plugged in and the battery icon always displays "Plugged in not charging".
When I click to expand the battery info, it says that the battery is 100% charged. However, as soon as I unplug the charger, the laptop shuts down.
