    Lenovo Legion 5 pro with AMD: Random Stuttering Problem


    HelloSince I bought my laptop I have been suffering from random stuttering problems, I have asked Lenovo how to fix this problem, but no success, as a last resort I changed from windows 11 to windows 10 but the problem persists. In some forums they told me that, in some cases, windows and amd present this type of problem due to the new ftpm protocol, and that I should deactivate it, but I don't know if this is prudent or will only make my situation worse. Is there any truth in what they told me?

    No suggestions but want to say nice laptop. They also seem to be popular being they're currently unavailable

    That said my only suggestion would be to take time to learn the laptop yourself.

    I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

    As far as I know, FTPM protocol doesn't mostly cause stuttering. Usually, stuttering is caused by hardware issues especially since you have already cleaned installed Windows. This might be caused by the drive where Windows is installed, the CPU, or the built-in GPU of the system.

    If you have a warranty on the product, I suggest claiming it so you can have a replacement.
