Windows 10: Lenovo LOQ 15 freezes when plugged in to charge

Hello! I have had the Lenovo Legion LOQ 15 for a few months and ran into this problem for the first time a few days ago. The laptop works fine and even retains charge but the moment you plug it in it will freeze and give black screen. This has been happening consistently every time the laptop is plugged in ever since. If it is unplugged and then started again, it will start normally. I will add, the issue started after a system update took place, but has not gone away even though I uninstalled the last update. How do I deal with this issue?

Lenovo Loq freeze problem

My Lenovo loq laptop freezes every 10 seconds for 2 seconds for no reason at all, it doesn't matter if I'm playing games or just browing it will still do it, the only exeption is when its plugged it to its charger, this is making the laptop unusable when not plugged in and if im not able to get it fixed I will be returning the laptop.

Plugged In, Not Charging

Sometimes depending on your Windows 10 Build, your battery will not charge to 100%, this extends the life of your battery . . . plug out the laptop, drain the battery for 10 - 15 minutes, plug it back in and see if it starts to charge the battery

If however, your battery is not charging at all in Windows 10, follow these steps to rectify this issue:

• Disconnect Power Supply
• Remove battery
• Connect Power Supply
• Turn on the laptop
• Control Panel - Device Manager
• Under the Batteries category, right-click all instances of Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery , and Uninstall
• Shutdown
• Disconnect Power Supply
• Insert battery
• Connect Power Supply
• Turn on the laptop
