Windows 10: Lenovo Microsoft Sign-in Issue

Hi there,I have been having sign-in issues with my Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 15IIL05 for a while now and thought I should try this forum. I bought this laptop a couple of years back and have not used it too much; for the past 6 months or so, I have been unable to sign in. When I turn it on, it asks me to sign in with my Microsoft password, after which the laptop suggests I make a PIN to make signing in easier. There is no immediate option to skip. Instead, I have to 'create pin'. A couple of seconds later, it is unable to make a pin so I have the option to 'retry' or 'skip for now'. I have

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?

This issue could occur due to some incorrect settings. I would suggest you to first check if there is any proxy connection setup in your PC. If yes, disable it temporarily and check if the issue persists. To disable proxy, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key +R and type 'inetcpl.cpl'.
• Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
• Uncheck the option “Use a Proxy Server for your LAN”.
• Click Apply and Ok to save changes.

Try these steps and let us know the results.
