Windows 10: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 6th Gen. Turns on By Itself

I posted this question on behalf of our client. His laptop turns on by itself during weekdays at night and not on weekends. These are the thing that I did:

• I asked him to disable the "Power On with AC Attach" on BIOS,
• I disabled the "Wake on Pattern Match" and the "Wake on Magic Packet" IntelR Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 and Ethernet Connection 4 I219 on Device manager,
• Checked Task Scheduler and didn't find any tasks,
• Checked the Power Options that might trigger the machine from turning on but didn't find any,
• Ran the powercfg -devicequery wake_armed and disabled the ThunderBolt thingy on BIOS and disabled it on Device Management -> Configure -> Advanced, then look for WOL or Wake on LAN and disable the option.
• Checked Power Options and looked for "Allow Wake Timers" but there are no such settings
• Disabled Automatic Maintenance
• Disabled Automatic Update
• Stopped Automatic Update
• Disabled Fast Startup
• Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > UpdateOrchestrator but didn;t find such thing
• Ran Power Trouble Shooter

And unfortunately, the issue still persists on his laptop. I also asked Lenovo Tech support to help us with this issue but they told me that his laptop is now out of warranty service and it will be billable if they help us out with this. Please help.

Which pen would work with Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 2?

Hi All,

I've been having a VERY difficult time identifying a pen that would work with my thinkpad...I think the lenovo support agent was also having a hard time identifying one, which is surprising, as it has a touch screen on it.

Here is the specifics of my machine:

X1 Carbon 2nd Gen (Type 20A7, 20A8) Laptop (Thinkpad)

Any advice would be most appreciated.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA for new lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon with latest windows build

Hello, Recently I bought new thinkpad x1 carbon (6th gen) and from beginning it is frequently having BSOD with message PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. After checking the dump file its pointing towards ntoskrnl.exe and the minidump link is attached.

I tried updating all drivers and reinstalling the windows but same problem.

If anyone have any solution please help.
