Windows 10: Lenovo touchscreen not working.

Device Manager says driver is 10.0.19041.868, but also says driver not loaded. How do I obtain?

Lenovo PC touchscreen not working after Windows 10 installed

I upgraded to Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago and now my
touchscreen (Lenovo PC) is not working. Any suggestions?

 

lenovo Flex14 touchscreen not working

after a recent Windows 10 update, my touchscreen stopped functioning. I have done a lot of the various fixes for the touchscreen issue listed here and in the lenovo forums. nothing has worked. all of my software and hardware drivers are current. I would
like to get this resolved as the touchscreen was one of the reasons I chose this unit.

In the Events tab for the touchscreen in Device Manager the following is displayed:

If you read the subject of my post it read TOUCHSCREEN not working not touchpad. My ELAN driver for my touch pad works fine, I need a driver for my touchscreen which the MS update broke. Lenovo does not have a driver listed on its website for my touchscreen.
When I check the device status in the control panel it shows that the device is working properly which it is NOT. I do not have a TOUCHPAD problem, its my TOUCHSCREEN.
