Windows 10: Lenovo with Windows 11 Pro - no audio output at all when Rekordbox open

Hi guys,I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Generation Thinkpad, with Windows 11 Pro /Office 365 for business. As soon as I open Rekordbox *all* audio stops from my laptop - regardless of whether or not the DDJ 400 is connected. When the controller is connected the sound will only come out of the laptop not the wired speakers or headphones - the controller works with other devices as do the speakers and headphone. All drivers and all software are up to date for everything, including the DDJ 400, Rekordbox has permissions within my Windows firewall. I have tried all of these options multiple times an

We would like to know more about your concern regarding the audio output of your computer. Have you received any error messages? After checking the audio drivers on the
Device Manager, have you updated the audio drivers on your computer?

I would suggest you to check again the Device Manager and follow the steps below:

• In the Control Panel, remove the given sound software
• Remove also the sound driver of the computer in the Device Manager
• Restart the computer
• Open Device Manager and click Scan for hardware changes
• If there are no audio device that can be detected by the computer, you can update the chipset driver from the manufacturer's website.

how to select the output audio speakers

To change the speaker output on Windows Media Player, you can try the following steps:

1. Open Windows Media Player.
   
2. Click on “Tools” and then “Options”.
   
3. Click on the “Devices” tab.
   
4. Click on “Speakers” and then “Properties”.
   
5. Select the audio device you want to use and click on “OK”.

I've tried every step that was suggested, still getting no audio output device installed.
