May 2004 Upgrade Conexant and Synapsis Driver issue resolution

Here is the page with the list of known problems with the 2004 update, Conexant is still on the list as 'Investigating' and if you check 20h2 (October Feature Update) on the left pane of that page, Conexant is still an issue they are looking into

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Conexant Smart Audio Windows 10 issue

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to install the Conexant audio drivers in compatibility mode and check the status of this issue. Refer to the below steps.

Refer the steps to install a driver in compatibility mode:

a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
Properties

b. Select Compatibility Tab

c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list

d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
