Windows 10: "let apps run in the background" setting wont turn on

Discus and support "let apps run in the background" setting wont turn on in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; as shown in the picture, the let apps run in the background setting wont turn on and is greyed out, my laptop is a personal laptop and is not connected...     "let apps run in the background" setting wont turn on


    as shown in the picture, the let apps run in the background setting wont turn on and is greyed out, my laptop is a personal laptop and is not connected to/ affiliated with any organisation so it shouldnt be that, how do i turn this setting on?

    Turn On or Off Background Apps in Windows 10  


    It works here too! I also noticed, turning on/off and opening Background Apps is not necessary.
    Just "Reset" any or all WinApps (one by one) and then you can find them under "Background Apps" list.

    PS: Turning Off "Background Apps", cannot affect Edge.
